• Substrate/No Substrate: Select the substate option for a more natural feel for your queen and workers. The fine sand helps distribute humidity and provides a comfortable surface. Or, choose no substrate for a cleaner, minimalist look.

• Red Cover: For species sensitive to light, the Red Cover provides a light-blocking solution. Ants cannot see red light, so the cover creates a perfect dark environment, ideal for nocturnal or light-sensitive species.

• Vented/Non-Vented: Ant species have different airflow preferences. The vented version allows air to circulate freely with small slits in the acrylic, perfect for species that need ventilation. The unvented option is sealed, providing an ideal habitat for very small species or those that prefer no airflow.
